As a support worker, you will provide physical support for day to day living personal care, washing dressing, general household duties such as cooking, cleaning and money management. Monitor, report and record health conditions / well being while working with professionals that are involved. Provide emotional support, companionship, act as a key worker and advocate for their wants and wishes. Ensure that their safety, respect, dignity and confidentiality are maintained at all times. Staff to support the individual in a manner that encourages independence with a “help you do attitude” to meet the person outcomes.
