🕒 Full-time (2:1 Support, Day & Waking Night Shifts)
Are you an experienced female support worker with a passion for making a difference in someone’s life?
Unicare Complex Care Specialist is looking for strong, empathetic professionals to provide person-centred 2:1 care for a female client with complex mental health, learning disabilities, and diabetes.
- Personal care, hygiene, and healthy eating support
- Manage risks like self-neglect, absconding, verbal aggression
- Emotional reassurance and calm behaviour management
- Help with community access and daily routines
- Work alongside MDTs (nurses, CPNs, social workers)
- Female only (Occupational Requirement)
- 1+ year’s experience in mental health or LD support
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- DBS & right to work in UK
- Familiar with trauma-informed approaches
- Level 2/3 Health & Social Care
- PMVA/MAPA or PBS knowledge
- Experience supporting adults under DoLS or s117
- Nutrition or diabetes support awareness
- £13.50–£14.00/hr
